Arisbe Hortega (Riz)

Professional Assistant Riz Hortega is the calming, friendly voice that you typically hear when you call the office. She has had a career in the law field for nearly 20 years. She will thoroughly know your case during our representation. Riz is fully bilingual, speaking Spanish and English. She is extremely professional and provides the calming support that our clients need when dealing with a work or personal injury. Originally from Streator, IL, Riz resides in Ottawa, IL, with her husband Joel, a Union Roofer and their two daughters, Reeve and Joelle.

Luke D. Ferracuti, Law Firm Intern

Luke, a graduate of Marquette Academy, played football, basketball, baseball and was on the Yearbook Committee. Learning from his parents about the importance of helping others, Luke has helped deliver stuffed animals to cancer patients through the local Angel Bears of Hope program, assembled the Laborer’s Local 393 Christmas Food baskets and volunteered to clean up residents yards in the aftermath of the 2017 Ottawa/Naplate Tornado. He worked summers for Ottawa American Little League as an announcer and in the concessions. In his spare time, he trades foreign currency, stocks and enjoys snowboarding and snowmobiling.

Miah C. Ferracuti,  Law Firm Intern

Miah is currently a senior at Marquette Academy and is enrolled in the IVCC dual credit program.  She is a member of the National Honor Society, Key Club and participates in basketball and softball. She represented her school in 2019 at the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Conference held at Illinois Wesleyan University. Miah has also been inspired to help others and has volunteered at the Midwest Food Bank and the Laborer’s Local 393 Christmas Food basket event with her family.  Miah loves art and designing things and she plans to attend college and major in architecture.

Lisa K. Ferracuti, Law Firm Coordinator

Lisa received her Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a Finance concentration in 2000 from Lewis University in Romeoville, IL. She graduated from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL in 1990 with Bachelor of Science in the Healthcare Sciences field. Lisa worked in healthcare for 15 years, including as a Consultant for a Pharmaceutical & Diagnostics Company and as a Project Manager in a hospital. She is recognized by the College of American Pathologists as an Inspector of hospital laboratories.  Her experience and knowledge in healthcare have been quite beneficial since the Drew Ferracuti Law Firm represents many individuals who have suffered injuries and must navigate through the healthcare system. Lisa has volunteered at the Illinois Valley PADS homeless shelter, Feed My Starving Children and has raised money for American Cancer Society. She enjoys snow skiing with her family and running.
